Poopsmacclaude - you have no idea what your talking about. In fact a lot of R&B artists of late are bringing the chipmunk style voice back. Are you calling the holders of #1 Singles such as Akon and thoes of his caliber old fashion? Heard of a song titled 'Lonely' before?
So STFU and do some research before you pass judgment on shit you don't know what your talking about.
In actual fact, its an awesome effect and brings a real contrast to rapping and singing (in a normal tone), I would have liked to see some rapping or singing however - perhaps in an updated version you will have some.
I decreased the speed of the song, to discover a pretty decent voice man. Why don't you record a few versus and fill in the gaps or make a colab with myself or someone who's keen to sing.
Love that beat dude! Keep them coming.
Thanks man
You really know music
and yeah a revised version will be coming
i actually am coming out with a mixtape
nice job
wicked idea dude. 10/10 5/5
Respect
Wicked track man..
Your harmony is flawless.. noticed one flat note around 2:30 tho.
5/5 Respect.
lol, yeah. It was all done in a half day. I should've put more time into it before I posted it. Thanks again for the review!
crazy kool
I 5'd it!
This has a crazy coolness to it.
The venetian snares worked really well with the ambient piano!
Nice job!
Thank you very much. I always admired the way VSnares cut his drum samples. Someday I hope to have it down as well as he does.
review
I wouldn't rate this song i'm afraid.
I like the beat but the snare wasn't right for the song and the percussion never changed - there wasn't even any fill-ins!.
Change the saxophone to a hip bass line, get rid of that ridiculous sliding effect at 0:17secs, and add some background music.
keep trying!
mmkay thanks
